While the TACT study is not accepting new patients at the other 100 centres across North America, the Seekers Centre and the Ottawa Heart Institute have been granted special permission to continue enrolling patients in this large double blind study of EDTA chelation therapy to treat cardiovascular disease. It is sponsored by the United States National Institutes of Health. If you are 50 years or older and have suffered a heart attack, you may be able to join the study.
