The Seekers Centre for Integrative Medicine is looking for a Naturopathic Doctor (ND) to join our team of medical and complementary and alternative medicine (CAM) practitioners. As recognized leaders in the emerging discipline of Integrative Medicine, we are working to establish integrative Chronic Disease Management (CDM) programs and demonstrate their efficacy and potential role in the healthcare system.

Your clinical skills should be focused on patient care. As a primary practitioner, you will continue to treat your existing patients in addition to new referrals. Some of your new patients will be enrolled in integrative CDM programs, and others will receive office-based treatment and advice. The Seekers Centre’s clinical practice currently includes natural health products, neural therapy, bio-identical hormones, chelation therapy, hydrogen peroxide and other IV therapies.

Your interpersonal skills should enable you to deliver an exceptional patient experience. This includes establishing rapport and a real connection with patients through authentic verbal and non-verbal communication. You will work with other practitioners to ensure seamless patient care and contribute to a healing environment.

Your professional attitude should be based on a strong desire to expand your personal practice and contribute to a wider clinical practice that is a model of success. This requires a strong work ethic and a commitment to managing your career and lifelong learning. Seekers Centre’s practitioners teach at the medical school and are leaders in medical education, and are involved in clinical trials and advocacy issues related to health and the environment. Conducting seminars, workshops and other initiatives that support your practice and provide patients with real value are welcomed. Interest in clinical research is an asset, as we expand our OSCAR EMR system to allow us to measure and track patient outcomes for program development and research publication.
